1
Unpack the BluFlow Control
Open the compact shipping box with a knife and take the BluFlow Control out of the packaging.
Manual
Pump with 10-metre cable
Filter lid and control knob
Base with foam caps and mounting screws
2
Choose the connectors
The pump has a base with foam caps for stable placement, or you can mount it with two screws in a technical pit.
Connectors of 20, 25 and 32 mm
To be connected to the top or front of the pump
3
Connect the pond hose
Use the connector that matches your pond hose, for example 32 mm. Size the hose based on the pump size: the bigger the pump, the larger diameter is recommended to reduce capacity loss.
First put a hose clamp around the hose
Place the hose onto the hose connector
Tighten the hose clamp firmly
Place the hose in the pond and connect the other end to the filter or waterfall
4
Use the dry setup
Leave the filter lid off; the pond hose is then no longer adjustable. Place a hose tail on the front and connect an inlet hose to it, for example from a skimmer.
This way the pump draws in water via the skimmer and sends it to the filter
Can also be used in a technical pit
Always place the pump below the water level, as it's not self-priming
5
Install and test the pump
Place the pond pump on the bottom of the pond, but don't plug it in yet. First make sure the pump is completely filled with water.
Connect the pump to the filter, waterfall or stream
Plug it in to check that it works
6
Adjust the flow
If you want to adjust the control knob, first switch off the pump. Turn the knob to the other position and switch the pump back on.
The flow is now reduced to its lowest setting, ideal for perfectly adjusting your waterfall, for example.
7
Use it as a fountain pump
Place a fountain set on top of the pond pump before putting it in the pond. Use the included connector to also have a hose tail for a hose connection, for example to a filter or waterfall.
Position the pump properly and set the height
Screw on the fountain head you want
Place the pump stably in the pond and switch it on
Adjust the jet using the top for the fountain effect you want
